Sub-processors
The third-party providers Modacast (Railex Technology OÜ) relies on to run the service, their locations and the safeguards applied to any transfer outside the EEA.
Sub-processors
Modacast uses the following sub-processors to provide the service. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and processes personal data only on our instructions.
- Supabase Inc. — database, authentication and file storage. Primary region: EU (Frankfurt). No transfer required.
- Vercel Inc. — application hosting and delivery. Location: USA. Safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, Decision (EU) 2021/914).
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd / Stripe Inc. — subscription billing. Location: EU and USA. Safeguard: EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or SCCs.
- Resend Inc. — transactional email (delivers recipient name and email). Location: USA. Safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2).
- Google LLC — optional single-sign-on. Location: USA. Safeguard: EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Apple Inc. — optional single-sign-on. Location: USA. Safeguard: EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or SCCs.
International transfers
Core data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Where a sub-processor is located outside the EEA, transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified. You may request a copy of the safeguards at info@modacast.co.
Changes
We notify customers before adding or replacing a sub-processor, and you may object on reasonable data-protection grounds. This page shows the current list as of the date above.
